I traveled across Oman over long distances – without a fixed plan, without a sense of time. Direction set the framework. Landscapes change there faster than they can be grasped. Without warning, mountains give way to open plains, spaces and formations unfold, deep wadis cut through. Desert, quiet plains, mountain ranges, and coastline lie closer together than one expects. Movement and space shape the day, and with them, time loses its importance – carried by vastness and silence. The images show this journey as it unfolded for me and how it shaped me: chronological, often clearly marked by sunrise and sunset.
